Kelly was very pleased with how the taxi looked and the drive to the church by your well presented & polite driver.
We had hired a Routemaster bus with another company to collect our close family and the Bridesmaids. When this broke down on the way to the ceremony it caused a great deal of worry and delay. Your driver did an excellent job in keeping her calm, staying well beyond the agreed time to enable Kelly to sit in comfort (and warmth) until the guests arrived.
We cannot thank you enough for your efforts to make our day great. I can only apologise for the delay in getting back to you and can assure you that we will strongly recommend you to anybody considering a Wedding Taxi in the future.

"A massive thank you for the two brilliant taxis on Friday, and for the sterling services of Kevin and James.
It could not have gone better, whatever we'd planned. By the time the Bride's Mother and Bridesmaids arrived at the Church, they were grinning from ear-to-ear, and any nervousness had simply evaporated. For they just couldn't believe the throngs of people en route who had waved, smiled and/or taken photographs. One abiding memory will be the gentleman with the large, beautiful Dalmatian, who simply dropped its lead so he could stop and take photographs of both immaculate taxis.
On the drive from the Church to the Reception, if I'd had a pound for every one person who just the sight of the taxis put a smile on the face of, I'd have been able to pay for the cost of the whole Wedding - probably twice! And that put us all in an excellent state of mind by the time we arrived at the Reception (no doubt aided by your Champagne and accompanying hamper!).
I think I will write to David Cameron, suggesting that the Government gives James and Kevin some serious funding, just to enable them to drive the streets of London (and other cities and towns), in order to convey an extra large feelgood factor to all the people they pass!
So, a million thanks once again for the great taxis, the excellent drivers, and your immaculate organisation and planning. Kind Regards, Thom"

(Due to exceptionally heavy snow fall on Highbury Hill 18/12/10some advanced driving skills and a 'little' push were
in order on route to the ceremony!)
"I booked two "City of London" taxis for my wedding on
the 17th December 2010.
I was given a courtesy call a few days in advance of my
wedding to confirm the details and to reassure me that the
drivers would check the route in advance and would arrive
at my family home in plenty of time.
On the day itself both drivers arrived smartly dressed
and a little bit early but happily waited while my
bridal party and I got ourselves ready to leave.
Unexpectedly we had heavy snow!
I was worried that we wouldn't get to the venue, about
a 45 minute journey from my home, in time for the ceremony.
The drivers were knowledgeable about which route to take
and got the whole bridal party there in plenty of time.
The cars were sparkling clean inside and out and very comfortable. As it was a cold day the driver had put a blanket in my taxi incase I was cold, which was a nice touch.
The drivers were calm, polite and reassuring all the way, which is what you need on the day of your wedding!
Due to the snow I didn't want to wear my satin bridal shoes to get in and out of the car; I changed just before walking down the aisle.
My driver went above and beyond the call of duty by waiting until the ceremony door had closed behind me and then running up the steps and leaving my other shoes at the top of the steps for us to collect after the ceremony!
I highly recommend the services of the City of London Black Taxis"

Unfortunately there was a bit of a downpour when I was trying to get from the hotel to register office with my mum and friend.Dean was excellent in ferrying us back and forth with the brolly!
I also was impressed with his smart appearance in the overcoat. At all times he was friendly and had useful knowledge about the time we should get to the register office and kind with his good thanks after the ceremony.
